The WSPITA Board has a limited schedule to plan and purchase necessities for this year's state shoot. For us to order and obtain targets, trophies, programs and donations we need to request donations be set by April 1st. We thank all who have donated so far, without your help, we might not be here!
In order to put on the State Shoot shooters expect, it costs the WSPITA more than $50,000 every year. From the cashier ($2,500), targets ($35,000), trophies ($7,500) added money ($5,000+), and everything else, prices are always going up. We really appreciate any and all support!
Congratulations to our 2022 WSPITA Doubles League final winners. HOA Greg Miner, A Class winner Brian Cornehl, B Class James Peery, Class C Jason Neiman, and Class D Stacy Peery. Amazing shooting and we really appreciate everyone's participation this year!
The WSPITA Board is still searching for two additional members to fill these positions. We are especially looking for a Treasurer. Anyone interested please contact a Board member or send us an email.
Congratulations to Washington Shooters T.J. Main, Garret Schlimmer, John Mullins, Tina Main, and Dr. Laura Winkel for making the ATA All American Team. While this may not be PITA, making the ATA All American Team is a huge accomplishment. Thank you for making Washington proud!
********Attention shooters, effective immediately, the WSPITA target fee has been increased from $2.00 to $3.00 per 100. This change was made in order to increase profitability and help guarantee the future of the WSPITA*************
Many shooters are becoming aware of the letter we are sending out this year in order to help raise funds for this upcoming year's State Shoot. We've attached this letter and the donation form below for you to view and read in its entirety.
John and Jeremy Gustafson have agreed to be on the board to help us raise funds this year and we still need one more member. The Washington State PITA Board is continuing to seek a nomination for a new board member to fill several important positions. We are in desperate need of a treasure. Unfortunately, 2021 and 2022 have not been ‘typical’ years. If you or anyone you know of would be willing and able to assist, please contact a member of the nominating committee or myself. Keep in mind that all candidates must be PITA members over the age of eighteen who currently reside in Washington State.
Thanks for your assistance

New option available at Evergreen Gun Club's smaller shoots (excludes state/grand). It functions similar to the magnum option, however, it is only a requirement to break 49 out of 50 or better for either the front 50 or back 50. Winners gets 50% the pot for the corresponding front or back 50. It was over $1,500 for the Evergreen Labor Day Shoot! It's also only a $8 option. It's a good bang for your buck!
In mid 2021, the Washington State PITA Board began several discussions surrounding several of our Washington State programs. As all of you know, the shooters 'option' fee associated with the Magnum option has historically been $12. In order to address some concerns that had been expressed regarding the 'recovery time' associated with the magnum pools, the WSPITA board voted to adopt a change associated with this option fee. This vote was conducted during the September, 2021 meeting of the WSPITA Board.
Therefore, beginning with the first shoot of the upcoming calendar year where this option is available, this option will now be charged at $14 per event rather than $12. As always, these funds will continue to go directly into the Magnum pools as incentive to participate in this exciting option!
